About the President:
Terria K. Dunlap- King is a native of Chicago and is affectionately known in the communities she serves as (Ekua )Riah D. Lioness. Riah holds a MS in Public Service Management from DePaul University and has over 24-years experience in direct people services. Currently, Riah
is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Natural Medicine at HPOC University.
Riah currently works as a Child Protection Mediator for children and families who are court and DCFS involved. Riah manages many of her own companies under the umbrella of KingMe Companies These businesses include professional bartending services, personal and
professional consulting and management and holistic life skills coaching.
In 2019, Terria was introduced to holistic healing and wellness after completing her first Sankofa Rites of Passages journey. Since that time she has expanded her studies and experiences in holistic healing and wellness by becoming a trained Sankofa Rite of Passages facilitator,
herbalist, and spiritual astrology consultant.
It is with great pleasure that Terria brings her passion for healing the BIPOC community to the Holistic Professionals of Colors family. You are encouraged to follow the Chicago chapter closely as great things are coming in the upcoming years.
Riah’s philosophy of each one, teach one and bring one will be paramount in her service and commitment to the role of President of the Chicago chapter.
