Meet Lakisha Buggs

My name is Lakisha Buggs known as the earth
godddess. I call myself the earth goddess because  I Am responsible for my land(body). I Am married with 5 beautiful children. I started my career off in the medical field as a Nurse assistant. I was a Nurse assistant for 15 years because I enjoyed the interaction and being able to make a change in the ones I cared for. I studied herbalism at American college of Healthcare Science and obtained my certificate in herbal studies with honors.  I then studied nutrition through T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and obtained my certificate in whole food plant based diet. I am currently working on obtaining 2 more certification in the nutrition field of WFPB. I am here to service my people and help lead them to a healthier lifestyle. Let’s move away from the SAD into the WFPB. I joined HPOC because I wanted to be apart of something bigger than me. I stand for all HPOC stand for and we share the same goal: to bring wholeness back into the communities of our people! 
 

Fun fact: 
I Am a new author looking to publish my first 2 children books. 
I enjoy sitting by the water, taking nature hikes, reading, and family time!
