Meet ShaToya Williamson

​

Sha'Toya Patrice Williamson was born on December 4th, 1981, in Lawton, Oklahoma, where she grew up surrounded by a loving family and a vibrant community. She grew up as an only child to a military father, with her mother they traveled and visited Europe and several states in the US to include Fayetteville, North Carolina. Becoming a resident of North Carolina in 1995 where she completed middle and high school.  From a young age, Sha'Toya exhibited a passion for the arts to include music and poetry. She has always taken her education seriously, which laid the foundation for her future pursuits. She excelled in school, earning recognition for her dual enrollment and graduated from South View High School in Hope Mills, NC as a member of the International-Bachelorette Program.

 

Sha ’Toya’s journey was all but linear. Completing her associate’s degree in 2011 she has pursued her higher education at Fayetteville Technical Community College], where she majored in Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. Her time at university was marked by being mother and having a new family. She graduated with a degree in Associates of Applied Science with honors. In 2016 she completed her Bachelor of Science in Birth to Kindergarten Education at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. As a distant learner Sha’Toya maintained a full-time work schedule, met the demands of the program requirements and graduated Cum Laude.  Several years later she completed her master’s degree in Transformative Leadership at California Institute of Integral Studies where she made notable achievements as a first-place winner of the  International Leadership Association (ILA) student case competition in Vancouver, Canada in 2023. She and 2 cohort members earned the award after presenting their case on the United Nation Sustainability Goal for Quality Education and how using the methods of Transformative Leadership can transform the experience we create in our current education systems.

Sha'Toya has had the honor of working in local government as a 911 Dispatcher at Fayetteville City Police department. After completing her associates degree, she began her career in Speech and Language Development, where she quickly made a name for herself due to her dedication and loyalty to the success of students. She worked in many counties across North Carolina to include Mecklenburg, Rowan, Harnett, Robeson, Hoke, and Cumberland. She focused her efforts on providing speech and developmental therapy for students in rural areas and considered underserved. Her efforts led to countless forever relationships with families near and far. She’s known for her effective family coaching, advocacy, and patient and calm demeanor with students that gave her their undivided attention.

Driven by her passion for coaching and desire for evolved leadership Sha’Toya later transitioned to providing holistic coaching where she has continued to make an impact. She is known for her ability to emerge and guide leaders, communicate directly and fairly, and her organic flow and has been instrumental in the development of  leaders, supporting individuals’ optimal health, and creating future leaders.

Through her journey she has been able to remain spiritually aligned and follow the natural callings over her life as Goddess, Priestess, and Shaman. She follows the dynamic path of spirituality practicing herbalism, doula, and Goddessship. Her vision and practices are divinely centered and speak to her ability to be accountable, take ownership, and maintain peace in all spaces.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Sha'Toya is deeply committed to her community. She actively participates in various community events like diaper drives, art events, vending opportunities, volunteering as mentor, providing community outreach, and maintain community relationship focusing on the wellness of the Black family. Her work has positively influenced many lives and has inspired others to get involved.

 

Sha'Toya lives Fayetteville, North Carolina with her mother. In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, sitting near water, and listening for God, which allow her to unwind and express her creativity. Sha'Toya is also an avid traveler, often seeking new experiences and cultures.

With a career marked by passion, innovation, and community service, Sha'Toya Patrice Williamson continues to inspire those around her. Her commitment healthy families particularly mothers reflect her belief in making the world a better place, one step at a time. As she looks to the future, Sha'Toya remains focused on her goals and the positive impact she can have on others.
